Saturday

So, this day was pretty awesome. Woke up to a hour and a half phone call with Ashley, went to the beach with Trevor and sat in the sun for three hours, thus resulting in a sunburn. Then, we went back to OV and got picked up by Allen. Allen, Trevor, Rob and me all went to the Ahoskie area to play a concert. Well, Rob didn't play but, he never does. I got to fill in for a couple songs. It was fun, I haven't gotten to play a show in such a long time, it felt great. So, this place in Ahoskie was amazing. I mean, okay. This dude lives on his families land, he's a Carpenter, Contractor and a Youth Paster. He pretty much built a mansion for him and his family(with built in pool), a cathouse (for his cats not whores), a half pipe, basketball court, zing line, plenty of land to go ATVing and Dirt Biking. He also built a barn, which is where the venue is. The sound system was no less than outstanding. It sounded better than the sound system at Club Relevant. A very popular concert place around here. Oh and the barn had a kitchen in it, how awesome is that? This dude is so awesome, like he has two 13 year old boys and a 12 year old daughter. The daughter was just driving around on an ATV like it was nothing. When I was 12 I had a BMX Huffy bike. lol This guy had to have had 4 ATV's and I'm pretty sure more dirt bikes than that. I think he even built a little getaway for his daughter. Those kids have an awesome life. lol I tried the zing line after Trevor and Rob went, well the German Sheppard ran up to me and bit my jeans. It somehow bit a perfect triangle. I came home, stinky, sunburnt and tired. Only to talk to Janice along the fenceline for an hour until she decided to go to bed, haha.

The Evening

Well, the concert was pretty good actually. Trevor has gotten pretty good at projecting his voice to make it sound pretty good. Jon can play the Uke well, and their bassist is okay. The show start with "Blister in the Sun" and ended with their original "One Day". I had okay fun, it was nice to get out of the house for a change. I felt bad eating that Giant burger I had though. lol

Anyways, I want to touch on another subject. I lost touch with a lot of my friends awhile back, mainly Trevor. And tonight, I didn't feel like we were cool anymore, like we were cool but, we weren't. It's weird, I want to bring back the close friendship we had but, I don't know how to approach it. I asked him if we could hang out tomorrow and I'm going to talk to him about what's been going on. Cause, I'm tired of feeling out of touch and lonely. I'm sure once I get out of the house more, I'll feel better.

Concert Tonight

That's right, I'm going to a concert tonight. Trevor and his band are going so, I figured I'll go with.
I'll post how it was when I get home tonight. I might even post some pics and a review/interview.

Boring But Fun Day

Today I found out it was Josie's birthday today, no one decided to tell me. I found out when Sammi walked by my house with balloons and a cake. I asked, "What's with all of that?"

"It's Josie's Birthday!" she said.

"Are you serious? How come you didn't tell me!" I yelled back.

"I didn't know you didn't know!"

So, I stopped doing all the yardwork I was doing and went up to work to by her some flowers, Josie is a nature person. I figured it'd be a great gift. I got her two types of peppers, Beefmaster tomatoes, Rosemary, Parsley, and a Dahlia bulb. She of course loved them, so it made me feel a little better. Then we all got to talking, a bunch of various things, Pet Shananigins and Busch Gardens, bad parents, pregnant teens, Ellen Degeneris, cameras, the world ending on 2012 then back to Pet Shananigins. This lasted 3 hours. Most of the time I was feeling left out of the conversation. I understood though, they've been bonding ever since Sammi's mother passed last year. It's weird though, me and her were like brother and sister for the longest time until High School started. I miss her a lot, and Josie always tells me, "I know you love her more than you care to admit."

I always tell her, "I know, I always will."

Anyways, I also found out someone stole their bikes they used to let me borrow. I know who did it but, chances are the bikes are long gone by now.

Well, I don't want to keep on rambling on about my pointless day, haha.

PS. I'm enjoying my haircut more and more.
